My kittty is sick and I "think" she doesn't drink enough water?

I've had my kitty for a week now, she's about 2 maybe 3 mo old. I never in my LIFE been allergic to cats until now. They've always been my personal favorite animal. Well, my right eye started getting red and then every time I go close to my cat, thats when my nose starts itching. In the beginning when that started happening, I took a look at my cat and she seemed ok so I figured maybe there was something ON her fur because I did take her outside for awhile. It wasn't until last night, she had dark brown/pink circles around her eyes, and her had a real bad stinch to it. It smelled something like sour. Thats when I realized tht I have't seen my cat drink too much water. I'v been feeding her wet food but today I switched to dry food since I think its better for them and there teeth. So last night, I forced her to drink water with a tube. Is there anything else I can do or anything I should buy or, IS there something wrong with her? This whole time she's been playing and purring around like any other kitten, but I know somethings wrong.
