Question about writing critique?

Where is a good place to have people critique my work? I am an aspiring author and need honest and constructive feedback on the work I have done thus far. I have completed 9k words and do not want to continue until I am sure the work is at least decent. I think I have the grammar down but overall style, prose, and vibe might be lacking. For me it sounds great but Im the author! Please any advice will help.
