I went to my crush's baseball game?! is that weird?

i recently went to my crushes baseball game. He invited me along time ago to go to a different game, but i was busy. and so i asked him when his next 1 was and he said then. i went to the game with my friends who like other people on the game too. But later that night he told people on his team he didn't invite us and that i asked. Which i did, but not just straight up stalkerish like. Anyway i want to go to another one, so i want a way to get him to invite me! help me please!?????????????????
