Question about wider reading in English Literature A2 exam - Love through the ages?

You have to refer to wider reading of poetry, prose, or drama in this exam. I was wondering, I have Virginia Woolf's extended essay "A Room of One's Own", would I be able to refer to it in the exam, does it count as prose literature, even if it isn't fiction?
